The Taiwanese company MSI has patched a gaming-related patch. But MSI is also building computers aimed at a completely different audience.

Sometimes you need to put a computer in a place where there is simply no space for a desktop model, and a laptop is not needed, or because of the small screen does not work well. In such situations, the mini-PC is played. Miniature computers are not only smaller in size but often have less power consumption. This device has shown MSI.

The new Taiwanese manufacturer’s design is the development of a series of miniature Cubi computers. MSI Cubi 3 Silent is a model that already names its most interesting feature: it is silent. In this small computer, we will not find a single fan.

This effect was achieved by constructing a casing, a large part of which is a heatsink. Unlike most mini-PCs without active cooling inside the MSI Cubi 3 Silent, we will not find a cheap CPU like the Intel Atom, and the flawless, although mobile generation processors 7: i3-7100U, i5-7200U or i7-7500U. This means that the manufacturer has managed to drain 15 watts of energy only through passive cooling.

Inside, we will find two DDR4-2133 MHz memory slots, a 2.5 “bay for the drive and an M.2 slot for SSDs. It has four USB 3.1 ports and a LAN port. The Cubi 3 Silent S has more than two USB 3.1 ports and has two COM ports, still used by many devices. Both versions use HDMI and DisplayPort.
